ELIMINATE ALL EMOTIONS VIA MORNING DOSES OF LEFT 4 DEAD

maybe some coffee and a veggie omelette

did you know i have been cooking a lot? since last week: two batches sticky buns, corn muffins, two batches baked ziti, chicken marsala, pasta salad, barbecue chicken, mini quiches, white chicken chili. i see crêpes, bread, sheperd’s pie, lasagna, chili, goolash, okra and tomatoes, broccoli and potato soup, decadent sweet potatoes, tempeh melts, curry veggies and lentil soup, kimchi, kimbap, and some kinds of delicious pies in my future. (i secretly really enjoy the movie waitress and just want to make pies forever.)

also, i quit smoking cigarettes. yay!

headed to gainesville today to see my family for a bit, witness my sister graduate with her bachelor’s in education, and babysit my one-year-old niece for the first time. anyone have advice on teaching sign language at such a young age? she’s not deaf or hard of hearing but because it’s easier for her to express herself through gestures than words i wanted to try to see if she can learn a few things in the short time i’m there.
