This post should be read with my post on my development project through Global Peace Exchange and Clinic Nepal in Chitwan, Nepal this summer.
The children also made signs of rules for the hostel.
- Respect everyone and their belongings
- No fighting
- Respect yourself and be clean
- Follow the schedule
- Be honest
- Listen and obey your elders
- Respect everyone’s property
- Be kind
One girl wanted to add “Peace and Love” which I was totally down with but sadly it didn’t make the cut.
I made a few larger versions of the routine signs that were hung up above the sink, and Kristen and I made pocket versions for the children to keep for themselves.
